Biography:

Chaiphat is a founder of the Thailand International Clarinet Academy, offering clarinet training sessions and a new clarinet community for clarinetists all over the world. He enriches the learning opportunity for young clarinetists by inviting both famous regional and international clarinetists to Thailand in order to conduct workshops, masterclasses, and on-stage performance, forming a cross-cultural relationship among clarinetists.

He is the founder of Black Monster Clarinet Ensemble, a project manager of Thailand International Clarinet Academy, a clarinet instructor, and a soloist. He also gives workshops and masterclasses as invited by schools and universities all over Thailand to educate and inspire young clarinetists in remote areas.  His own education started at Assumption College under Mr. Jakkrit Ruenvuth and Wichai Yongvanitjit. Chaiphat graduated bachelor's degree with second class honors in Music Performance with Ms. Cassandra Fox Percival and Mr. Grzegorze Grzeszcyk at the College of Music, Mahidol University. Later, under the supervision of Mr. Eddy Vanoosthuyse, principal of Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra, he achieved his master's degree at the Conservatoire Royal De Liege, Belgium with the suppport of scholarship funds from Classical Music Promotion under the Patronage of HRH Princess Galyani and also from Conseil Social Reglementd'Octroi.

Chaiphat's international recognition includes the Best Artist Performance Award at the sixth West Pomeranian Clarinet Festival in Szczecin, Poland, being chosen as first runner up in the 2013 Thailand World Music Championship and second runner up in the Thailand International Wind Ensemble Competition, and by winning the Bronze Award in the 8th International Music Competition and Festival for Soloists and Chamber Groups in 2016.
