A lifelong student of jazz trapped in the body of a rock musician, saxophonist Rob Ingraham is best known for his work with chart-topping New Orleans octet The Revivalists, where he brings a fresh, unapologetic sound by incorporating techniques and vocabulary from well beyond the fringes of typical rock & roll saxophone.
Ingraham was born in Tulsa in 1985 and moved to New Orleans to attend Tulane University in 2004, where he quickly assimilated into the city's vibrant musical community. He became a member of The Revivalists in 2009 after a brief but passionate courtship. When not touring or recording with The Revivalists, Rob can be found performing with experimental funk quartet Space & Harmony, picking up various gigs around town, or drinking beer outside on sunny days.
