Preferred Rovner Ligatures:
"For years I've loved mixing Rovner Dark or Light ligatures on my various horns. They are built like tanks but play like a race car. Focused, clean and easy to handle. I recently started using the Versa X on my alto am amazed how it can give an ultra bright sound using the metal plates, or a rich dark sound by flipping the rubber side walls over the metal plates. The Versa X has become my swiss army knife ligature of choice! I love that I can quickly switch the tonal color to suite the needs of the gig."
